THE WORTH OF WORDS
Conclusion
I have been an assiduous student
Of THE ACADEMY FOR FUTURE SCIENCES
since its inception
I shared understandings concerning
human languages, as a perfect background
for an important experience of my life:
more than 25 years ago, after learning
these extraordinary language facts
in a compact FLOWER OF LIFE weekend workshop
given by Drunvalo Melchizedek,
my soul felt quite elated,
while at the same time my body
was lagging way behind
my transformation,
had been so profound throughout these learning,
that when Monday morning arrived
I felt like a tadpole
However, I needed to go to work,
my work was humble,
I was babysitter or nanny
to a two years old Mormon child
Emma
So here is my memory:
… it is exactly nine O’clock Monday morning, when I arrive for work
at Emma’s apartment in Reston, Virginia. Emma’s mother, opens the door, happy to see me. she says with great excitement:
“Pilar, before I leave for work, I have something extraordinary to tell you that happened to my Sister Victoria. Do you remember Victoria?”
“Of course, I do” I reply. (whenever Victoria would call from California when her sister was at work and I would answer the phone, she would talk to me in Spanish)
Emma’s mother then tells me this story:
Victoria was bringing a dental clinic to the jungles of Nicaragua, when an Indian woman who had traveled overnight, barefoot through the tropical jungle, carrying her new born baby who had been born with a cleft palate, and could not suckle at her breast, arrives at the clinic one morning and tells Victoria and the rest of the people, that even though her tribe would not have allowed her to go to the clinic, she knew that the white people could save her child; so, she fled at night walking miles and miles to get to the dental clinic, carrying her newborn on her arms.
Deeply moved Victoria embraces the women and tells her that it will be a simple operation and that she can watch.
Together they place the baby on a table. The operation is performed inside an infinite bubble of love, several people silently watching.
Then Victoria and the Indian women converse while the clinic people feed them a proper meal.
Victoria tells the driver of the clinic to deliver the new mother back to the “caserio” of her tribe.
When the Indian woman has left, the rest of the clinic personnel ask Victoria in total astonishment: “Victoria, how did you understand that woman?!”
“What do you mean? Victoria says, “don’t you all say that I speak perfect Spanish!”
“Victoria, that woman did not speak Spanish… she only spoke in her tribal language!” They explain.
So, you see, this is a true story that cried out to be written on this essay, among all the other complex reflections on language.

this story presented itself to me
in a synchronous way when I had heard of Stan Tenen’s
extraordinary linguistic discoveries?
SYNCHRONICITY
is an owe-inspiring life mystery!
Back to language:
hearing this anonymous Pentecost
of modern times
a true and complete act of human love!
totally humbled me that day.
I am proud I did not say anything.
I was sensitive enough not to pretend I could explain
