Day Two
Born to Write
Throughout my life
insistently nags at me
to joyfully spell
Life
I was born a Wordsmith,
Poet may be
We all come to Earth
To craft, polish and perfect
Different gifts
I wish to contemplate
And poetically
narrate
anecdotes of events
that have made me
WHO I NOW AM
Some of them are totally providential
Sublime, Magical
Transcendent…
Kairos moments in the unbroken fabric of time
* * * * *
However,
when in a committed and disciplined way,
I sit myself to write,
a strange, unexpected and deeply fulfilling thing starts to happen:
rather than being able to sequentially relate
anecdotes of quotidian life;
my mind starts to dwell in complex subjects,
like the unfathomable mysteries
of sound frequencies, languages, mantra chants,
seed syllables and even of
simply the letters
seen as versatile quantum packages
that enable us humans to express life
good reflections which I deeply enjoy writing
for writing is a lofty art,
a higher iteration from speech,
that demands much more conscious thought
All conscious and creative thinking
is utterly satisfying
these essays leave behind a radiant glow
that is unblocking my soul
preparing it perhaps for a simpler
more authentic, immediate and unpretentious
contemplation
of the meaning of my personal life
these essays reside at a certain frequency
which I am now consciously able to enter
They express things I have learned
and thus,
they are part and parcel of
my soul’s call to write
Therefore, I honor them.
However, I hope a writing discipline
will eventually take me in the direction of an intimate
simple and humble contemplation
of my entire present life
this time around!
I hold a deep conviction as to how precious, each, and every personal human live is
through a sincere meditation
on the individual meaning of my personal life
I wish to render proper tribute to Life
It will be my personal worship
at age twenty- seven I attended a forty day
Mystery School training called
ARICA SCHOOL
founded by a great South American philosopher
Oscar Ichazo
from that training an extraordinary sentence
was forever indelibly etched in my soul:
“The Purpose of Life is to integrate the Past into Wisdom”
this sentence is the inspiration for my strong desire
to fully contemplate, express,
distill and share whatever wisdom I have gathered
Modern Psychology has already realized
that the measure of our mental health
is directly related to our ability to “make sense”
of our personal lives
near death experiencers speak of the
great transcendent learnings accrued in the
“Life Review”
our human lives are a gift to be
apprehended!
I intend to start a sincere commitment
of disciplined writing
to narrate some of the many transcendent experiences of my life
I am accepting though,
that my writing
seems to wish to continue
pondering mysteries of
language,
the human gift that enables us to narrate life
So, a joyful musing on
The Worth of Words
Will be the next entry
