Friendship

FRIENDSHIP

Friendship

SPECKS, SPARKS
in the dance of life, we humans are
at times, in the depth of someone’s eyes,
we glimpse our Self:
Unconnected threads traveled the wind,
days tuned into years
when bereft I was of a mirror for Self,
‘till the Earth-shaking sundering instant
you arrived at my door
with a longing of equal sort

Slowly yet securely
like the hidden might of forests
your mind and my mind, your heart, and my heart
started to weave an unperishable web

Wherefrom friend dear, do winds of friendship come?

Among thousands, your face I recognized
to rejoin, rejoicing from before and to forever,

Soul sparks are eternally bound

To the winds of now let us bow
to decode life’s secrets through
the tinkling bells of our laughter

let us together build a temple sacred
immaterial eternal ethereal

to dream aloud crystal worlds of healing magic

trembling dewdrops are dancing
in the light of a new dawn
we will together weave a wave,
to gather life’s ebb

Joy and Love we shall claim
and more, much more
as well as Pain … a cleansing rain

minutes, days, sunsets, seasons, together forever
in friendship entrained,

I am no longer lost
but NOW found, to sense life’s fullness

no longer separate ego-bound, apart
we now have become an
“I and Thou”

thrown by your glance,
unbreakable vibrating living dancing
dew drops in the landscape of mind
birth ripples of poetry into my heart

inside the seashells of my ears
 I now hear
a sea of eternity with roaring waves
that sparkle and shine diamond words

I am gathering Light,
is this,  P O E T R Y?
*

Listen, listen, listen, we have
“come in touch!”
entered RELATION

new octaves are born from this act
life does blossom between stars

in the innocence of our smiles we weave happiness,
joy is there for others to find

life is not blind, it borrows our eyes

I sense a purpose, a real purpose
for our coming together in this life now

partnership creates, alone we search

working together, we effortlessly submerge ourselves
in the rhythms of moments of day

inside the golden balm of a silent sunset
an unheard-of. rose-tinted healing, transformed us
though we did not even notice;
each of us humans need multitude of healings
along life’s path, friendship is the way

Pilar, did you write this poem? It’s not clear if it’s yours or someone else’s you are sharing. BRAVO. Beautiful words and so needed at this time when the whole is realizing all we have are precious friends, family and pets. Thank you for being a light!

    Thanks Suzette;
Yes of course I wrote this poem, and yes, I agree fully with you and with Christ’s admonition “the other as oneself!”
I was born a poet. I believe in the healing power of poetry… That is the very core of why and how I write.
True Poetry is Soul language… fully heart centered.
With my blog I hope to inspire others to wholeheartedly embrace the spirit of poetry. To welcome in their soul poetic musings.
To heal ourselves and our world we humans need to express the love, beauty and innocence that lies at our core.
You do it beautifully in your professional work as a writer. Thanks for your Suzette for your question.
    Love, Beauty, Joy,
    Pilar
